Are you dreaming about your first half marathon but not sure where to start? Or maybe you’re already deep into training but always looking for more tips? If so, definitely check out next week’s Community Workshop designed to give you some tools to conquer that first half, or to improve your time on the next one. Reserve your spot for the workshop here!

While the half marathon (13.1 miles) may seem daunting, THOUSANDS of people conquer the half every year. It’s actually the most popular race distance on the planet. Join Psoas and USATF/RRCA certified running coach Marathon Matt as he breaks down the secrets to training for and conquering 13.1 miles.

Here’s what Psoas co-owner Jenny Lightstone has to say about the importance of the half marathon in her running practice:

“I found personally that once I was able to conquer my first 8 mile run, that was when my world opened up to half marathons, marathons, and longer distance trail running. The half marathon is like the gateway into longer distance running and I highly recommend trying one out. It was a big help having access to professional resources like Marathon Matt to help in my training for that first half. Plus, I couldn’t have done it without some good bodywork for recovery and prevention, so keep that in mind once you start planning your training!”

Space for this workshop is limited so make sure to RSVP here to hold your spot and, as usual, please cancel 24 hours in advance if you won’t be attending.
