Loosen those shoulders!

As you may have heard, Mayor Breed announced a few days ago that the city might allow for Massage/Bodywork to start as early as June 29th, however yesterday she made the call to delay that as case reports have spiked.

It’s a reminder to us of how important our commitment is to ensure everyone’s safety when we reopen. We’re sticking with our timeline to begin bodywork again around August 13th (with approval from the City and State, of course), and we’ll be using the extra time to finish testing some final products, developing protocols, and implementing some clinic upgrades. We miss you all, though, and we’ll be in touch soon with more info. Remember, we still have some current COVID treatment offerings below.

Now let’s get to the real business–self care! This week’s Quick Tip Video features senior therapist Jason Garcia showing us though one of his favorite ways to roll out the lateral shoulder muscles. Jason has worked virtually with many clients experiencing shoulder issues resulting from COVID-related habits and environment changes, and we’ve been pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the virtual sessions.
