We hope you’re ready, because racing season is coming! Our longtime partner, Marathon Matt, just announced their first LIVE race in 18 months. The Honey Badger Half/10K/5K will be returning to China Camp Park in Marin on Sunday, July 18th. There will be a virtual option as well, but if you’re itching for that feeling you only get from running a live race, China Camp Park is a beautiful way to get back into it.
To celebrate, this week’s Quick Tip is an exercise called the alternating glute bridge to help wake up a lazy glute, an issue many runners face. But, you don’t have to be a runner to benefit from this exercise. Strengthening the glutes can do a lot to help alleviate low back pain from sitting or standing at a desk all day, too.
If you need some help getting back into racing shape, or working through any aches and pains in your body, give our front desk a call at 415-227-0331 and come in to see one of our bodyworkers. We love developing treatment plans to help our clients reach their goals, whatever those goals may be.
