The Posture Ball might be small, but this foam ball helps release muscle tension in hard-to-reach places; providing big results. This versatile little ball is a great tool for at-home maintenance, and with winter sports right around the corner, it’s time to start giving your body some extra attention. Join co-owner, Jenny Lightstone, in this week’s Quick Tip as she guides you through a technique to release the Gluteus Medius. Enjoy!

This exercise is fantastic not only for the gluteus medius, but this muscle can also refer pain to the lower back, to the hip and top of the thigh. Even if you aren’t having lower back pain, it is still good to give some attention to the glute med!

Try it out, and don’t forget to breathe and relax into the ball. Start out slow and easy. Stop if the pain is intense or sharp.
