Keeping Our Community Healthy Backup

We’re currently in the process of updating our Health + Safety Plan, and this page is a work-in-progress. .  We’ll be updating it periodically to reflect additional changes we make.  Thanks for your patience!

We are committed to continuing to offer on-site chiropractic care as well as remote bodywork sessions during this time, while keeping our clients and our staff safe. We are following all guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control + the World Health Organization and will continue tracking all new recommendations. Please don’t hesitate to call us with your questions or concerns, especially in regards to exposure and symptoms. We are here to listen, so please notify us of any concerns as early as possible.

While at our clinic, please observe the following health protocols:

Coughing and Sneezing Etiquette:

  • Cover mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Put used tissue in waste basket immediately.
  • If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.

Hand Hygiene:

WASH OFTEN, with soap and water:

  1. Wet hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
  2. Lather hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between fingers, and under nails
  3. Scrub hands for at least 20 seconds.
  4. Rinse hands well under clean, running water.
  5. Dry hands using a clean towel or air dry them.

If soap and water is not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer:

  1. Apply the gel product to the palm of one hand (read the label to learn the correct amount).
  2. Rub hands together.
  3. Rub the gel over all the surfaces of hands and fingers until your hands are dry. This should take around 20 seconds.

And our in-house precautionary protocols:

  • We use hospital-grade solutions to wipe down door handles and head rests after each session.  We also wipe down all frequently-used surfaces, like handles, bathroom keys, keyboards, pens, water cooler, stools, room accessories, and all massage supplies (like lotion containers), etc. We’ll have extra cleaning wipes available for easy-use — in each treatment room, the break room, the front desk, and admin office. Each individual on staff will participate in disinfecting after themselves, each other, and all clients.
  • We’ve purchased more hands-free options for hand sanitizers for staff and clients — including pump bottles for therapy rooms and an automated dispenser for reception area.
  • We have masks and gloves should either client or therapist request the use of.
  • We’ve removed breath mints from therapy rooms.
  • We will continue using Charcoal, HEPA, and UV filters in our air filtration system.
  • As always, our therapists will scrub hands and arms (past elbow) after each session, with soap.
  • As always, linens are changed after each session, and washed in hot water.
  • For now, instead of the normal handshake, we’ll be welcoming our clients warmly with our words and smiles.
  • As always, we will offer validated parking.  Directions can be found here.
  • Our team is in close communication around this issue to support each other and our clients.
