Is your sartorius ready to go?

While the glutes and hamstrings often get a lot of attention in athletics, other muscles require just as much care to keep us at our best — whether running, jumping, dancing, or swimming. This week, we’re taking a look at one of those very muscles: a hip flexor called the sartorius, which spans all the way from the hip to the knee.  
 
In our Quick Tip this week, Derek and Jenny will demonstrate how to effectively stretch this important muscle. The Sartorius Stretch is an active one, and great for runners, swimmers, tennis players, and anyone doing a lot of running and kicking!
