Quick Tip: Are you headed to the mountains?

Are you taking advantage of all the snow in Tahoe this year? It’s been fun hearing about our clients' Tahoe stories and we love keeping you in top condition for your ski/snowboard trips. But don't forget that these snow sports can be intense for the body in a different way than other athletics. That's why it's so important to make sure your body has what it needs — preparing for your trip, and on the slopes.

In the coming weeks, we'll share some dynamic warmups and recovery stretches for your snow adventure, but in this Quick Tip, Jenny reviews all the things you should pack — to keep you limber and prevent injury.

  • Travel foam roller (to work your upper back, glutes, IT bands, and quads)
  • Foot wheel (to prevent foot cramping in those big boots)
  • Thermacare (to get your low back ready on the drive up)
  • China Gel (for soreness and tightness at the end of the day)
  • Travel stick (to work your calves and quads)

We’ve got everything here, so come pick it up during your pre-snow-trip bodywork session!
