Our feet do so much for us, and though that hard work can show up in achy arches and toes, it can also have broader effects. When our feet aren’t healthy and strong, patterns of compensation can crop up in other structures of the body — and those patterns can sometimes cause pain. So to ensure we’re making the best use of our body’s structure and power, we have to offer some care to these feet of ours!

With all that in mind, we’re bringing you a foot-focused Quick Tip this week. In this video, Psoas therapist K.C. Wassner shows an easy exercise to help reduce the occurrence of bunions and facilitate overall strength in the feet. This is a great one to try if you’re noticing your big toe creep over towards the others. It’s also awesome for yogis looking to widen the reach of their toes and strengthen their base in postures like tree pose. So try it out, and let us know what you notice!
