Posted by on Apr 16, 2014 in Stretches

Are you familiar with the Cat to Cow pose in yoga? You know, the one that leaves you feeling loose, limber and ready to master your practice. If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you’re missing out. But don’t worry, because Kristen Greco is back in the Psoas training room for this week’s Quick Tip, and her moves will give you that feeling plus some! Practice with her as she guides you through a seated flow that will help release your spine, improve your posture, and calm your mind.

Releasing the Spine

This is the type of exercise that will be helpful for just about anyone. Our spines can get stiff and static as we age, and when it’s not used to its maximum range of motion.

This exercise will loosen the spine and open up the shoulders and the back. Try it if you have any tightness in your upper or lower back, or your neck. You’re bound to feel a difference.

And as always, if there is any sharp pain, please discontinue and contact us.
