Now that you've done all that dynamic stretching in the snow, it's time for a breather. In this third installment of our snow sports series, Jenny Lightstone and Psoas therapist Jenny Schaffhouser show off a great partner stretch to target the hamstrings and glutes. Lie back and let a friend or family member help you loosen your hamstrings, and then with a simple adjustment, open the lateral rotators in your glutes. It will feel great after your long day of leg-work, and it will be easy on your partner's body, too. Try it out after a day on the slopes, or on a recovery day, between cups of hot chocolate. Once snow season is over, this is also a great one to use with your running buddies. Let us know how it goes, and keep an eye out for more cold-weather static recovery stretches next week.
