While you’re thinking about stretching your calves, it’s easy to forget how important it is to stretch more than just your muscle. The connective tissue (also called fascia) that lies between our outer layer of skin and musculature can get stuck and slow us down. That’s why in this week’s Quick Tip, Scott Schwartz shares a stretch for the fascia of the lower leg that, along with muscular stretching, will breathe new life into your calves. This one involves very subtle movements so make sure to listen carefully to Scott’s directions. We’re grateful to our friend Michael LaCroix for sharing this with us, and can’t wait to hear what you think.
