The Advanced Quad Stretch

With all the extra sunlight of summer and San Francisco’s strong vaccination rate, we’ve been seeing many of our clients increase the intensity of their workouts. That means it’s time to get a little deeper into our stretching routines, too. This week’s Quick Tip is an advanced quad stretch with a yoga ball that doubles as a stability challenging core exercise. It isn’t your “first thing in the morning” stretch, but it works great as a cool down post workout, between reps, or even breaking up a long desk session.

 
Yesterday, San Francisco lifted nearly all local Covid restrictions, and we know people are ready to rip the masks off. We are too! And we are still waiting on direction from the Department of Public Health for personal services in a massage business, which differs from the city rules for the general public. We know there are so many different feelings on this big step yesterday so please be patient with us as we develop the next stage of our plan with the intention of best supporting the well-being of everyone in the clinic. In the meantime, all staff and clients will continue to wear masks in the clinic, but we will no longer take temperatures or screen for symptoms at the door, and we can now welcome two clients at a time in our Reception area.
