WIYL WANG (HE/HIM)
With over a decade of experience, Wiyl brings a thoughtful, integrative approach to therapeutic bodywork. His work draws from pain management, structural integration, Ortho-Bionomy, manual lymphatic drainage, cupping, and deep tissue techniques. He listens closely to both the client and the body, adapting each session to individual needs. His work is especially suited for clients navigating chronic tension, pain, restricted movement, recovery, or seeking consistent therapeutic care.
MORE ABOUT WIYL...
Wiyl found massage in 2012, trained at the National Massage Therapy Institute, and continued his education centering on pain management and structural bodywork. His ongoing study in Ortho-Bionomy, along with Manual Lymph Drainage through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, helps him look at the whole system rather than working only where a client points to their pain, patterns of tension, compensation, and movement across the body, to understand what's really driving a complaint. For clients managing chronic or recurring issues, he creates a thoughtful, progressive plan over multiple sessions.
Wiyl was drawn to San Francisco by its unique pace of life and the opportunity to grow professionally. Before beginning his career in bodywork, he spent time living and teaching English in China, an experience that fostered an enduring interest in language and cultural exchange. Outside the treatment room, he enjoys nature, studying Mandarin Chinese, painting, reading, and spending time with family.
